Mechanical production
Our competitive machine shop consists of around
70 machine tools with heat treatment and hardening
shop facilities and covers an area of approximately
12,500 square metres.

Large parts production
We produce high-alloy steel components up to a weight
of 10 tons on our horizontal boring machines, milling
units and vertical boring and turning mills.

Production of gear teeth
Eickhoff has specialised machines for the production
of internal and external teething, capable of manufacturing
pieces of up to 1,500 mm in diameter and a maximum
weight of 1,500 kg. Hardened gear teeth of up to 1,500
mm in diameter are polished on bush grinding and external
grinding machines. A computerized measuring centre
examines the tolerance limits and modification of
the gear teeth.

|
Production of standard parts
Rectangular and cylindrical parts are manufactured
on CNC turning machines, CNC machining centres, NC
millings machines and boring centres. The maximum
diameter for rotation parts is 750 mm, the maximum
edge length for rectangular parts 600 mm. The maximum
weight is 1,200 kg.

|
Production of customised parts
This division is equipped with a conventional machine
shop, which offers most of the usual operational facilities.

Hardening Shop
For heat treatment operations like normal, soft
and stress-free annealing processes, there are shaft
furnaces with diameters of 1,200 mm for maximum charge
quantities of 2,600 kg.
The process is monitored by a computerized control.
The monthly capacity is 140 t.

Measuring Systems
Our assembly plant consists of four assembly lines
on 7,500 square metres with an affiliated control
centre. The model lines for gearing technology, electrical
engineering and extraction technology are run simultaneously,
while performance, noise and vibration measurements
are carried out in a separate division hall with control
facilities.
