EICKHOFF gearing equipment looks back on more than 100 years of tradition in gearing technology, initially as suppliers for their own machines, and later also as independent suppliers of gearing products for various industrial applications, offering a comprehensive gearbox engineering division and industry-oriented specialisation. The company’s expertise and its cooperation with other EICKHOFF divisions ensure customer-oriented flexibility, combined with the strength of a medium-sized company.

EICKHOFF was among the first gearing equipment manufacturers to introduce a quality assurance system and was ISO 9001 certified in 1991.

In 1996, EICKHOFF was additionally certified as a Q1 supplier of gearboxes by Deutsche Bahn AG (German Railways), enjoying the confidence of Deutsche Bahn AG with this highest possible quality rating as a competent supplier of wheelset drives.
